Located on the southwest of the island, Villa Clio of Santorini is situated in a residential area on the outskirts of the village of Akrotiri. Set above the cliffs, this very charming villa for rent on Santorini Island, offers our guests a most striking view of the uniquely inhabited Caldera, the Santorini Archipelago (island group) with the islands Palea and Nea Kameni at the center of the flooded volcanic basin and “La Ponta”, the Medieval Castle of Akrotiri.

Upon entry our guests welcomed into a bright, spacious living room with a fire place, off white beamed ceiling and a formal dining area that can accommodate ten (10) guests. Exiting to the pool terrace it offers a breath taking view, while elegant furnishings, colourful paintings and art objects provide a warm and playful atmosphere.  A corridor leads to a separate fully functional and fully equipped kitchen with a cozy dining area ideal for a quick meal anytime of the day. In the back of the villa, a BBQ area with a wood oven, large wooden dining table and a view of “La Ponta”, is the ideal spot for al fresco dining. Finally, a spacious bedroom, with a wooden double bed, vanity dressing area and a separate bathroom with shower, are also located on this level. Referred to as “the Lady?s” bedroom, it exits to the pool terrace and has a view of the splendid volcanic archipelago.

An internal stair case ascends to the upper level where “the Master?s” bedroom is located. Spacious, with wooden floor, vaulted ceiling, it overlooks the pool terrace and while guests can enjoy the sea view from the king size bed. Also on this level is the “Mezzanine”. Bright and spacious, it is split in two levels with a double bed on the lower level. A wooden ladder leads to a cozy, vaulted, mezzanine with a double mattress. The Mezzanine exits to a large, sun protected, lounging terrace where guests can relax and enjoy a magnificent view of the caldera and the village of Akrotiri. A separate bathroom with shower is located on this level.

An independent, semi submerged apartment with a separate entrance can be accessed from the courtyard. Consisting of two (2) romantic “submariner” bedrooms with double beds, a spa with Jacuzzi (exits to the pool area), a cozy lounging and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen (washing machine and dryer included) and a separate bathroom with shower, this apartment is ideal for guests who wish to take full advantage of the nightlife and replenish themselves in privacy during the day.

Built as a private family vacation hideaway by the owner, Villa Clio provides the comforts of a home away from home. Elegant yet cozy, it offers indoor and outdoor spaces for moments of privacy and peaceful contemplation, as well as group gatherings. One may retreat to a private garden courtyard or a shaded lounging area or share moments with other members of the group lounging on the pool terrace.
